Maintenance Person (assistant)



Purpose:

General maintenance of premises, leisure/ sports area and surrounding areas, to ensure smooth and safe running of daily activities.



General duties will be to perform daily safety checks on all equipment which includes small electrical motors and pulley systems. Also to repair and maintain Ski and Snowboard equipment.

General building maintenance including fire alarm testing and annual planned maintenance.

Other duties also include general site clearance, taking in deliveries in the morning and setting out for conferences.





This role is very varied and open to anyone with a positive attitude and good general manual skills.

Specific training will be provided



The role will be a flexible shift system of 37.5 hours a week to cover the hours from 8am- 10pm Monday to Friday and a rota weekend shift of around 2 hours Saturday and Sunday, every other weekend.

We are looking to have a rotating shift of mornings 8am to 4pm the other to work afternoons and evenings probably 3pm or 3.30pm to 10am .





Own transport is desirable as occasionally may be required to pick up items for the site.

Also there will be some degree of “on call” which will be shared amogst the maintenance staff if alarms are tripped etc, and flexibility in working hours for special events,
